How Weighay works

From changing crop conditions to a consistent bale target.

Bale weight can move as moisture, temperature, windrow and ground conditions change. Weighay measures the finished bales and gives the control system the information needed to respond.

Automatic process

The operator remains responsible for the baler and field operation. Weighay supports that work with continuous weight information and automatic pressure adjustment.

Why pressure moves

The crop does not stay the same all day.

Weighay's published guidance explains that rising system pressure can indicate drying crop, while falling pressure can indicate moistening crop. The system varies pressure to regulate bale weight.

Temperature and moisture

Drying or moistening crop can change the amount of material and density in each bale.

Windrow variation

Uneven crop flow changes how the chamber is fed and how each bale forms.

Accuracy depends on correct installation, calibration and operating conditions. Weighay recommends regular sample-bale checks and checking calibration for drift daily.
